Product Summary The XRM-ETH is a front panel adapter providing a 10/100 Ethernet, an RS232 port and general purpose I/O. The XRM provides 18 pairs of differential-capable I/O plus 2 single-ended signals on a 38-pin Mictor connector. The differential pairs are routed to the XRM-ETH with 100 Ohm impedance and not terminated to enable direct routing to the FPGA. There are 2 transmit and 2 receive RS232 signals, providing data rates up to 115 kBaud. The Ethernet capability is supported by a Kendin KS8721B 2.5V PHY. This device is capable of auto-sensing 10Mb or 100 Mb networks and has a standard MII interface. With an Ethernet MAC in the FPGA provides a complete Ethernet interface. | |
